Bitty and I have been busy taking pictures and having fun with the new Bristol pattern over at Karrington Paige Designs.

The V-back is so lovely dressed up with trim or can be left simple for easy summer days. The options are plenty and include a bow at the base of the V-back like the top Bristol pictured.

As you can see we chose to have fun with the trim at the neck with both dresses using petals and a pre-made ruffle. I know some of you may be concerned about modesty with the deep V or slipping from the shoulders and my suggestion would be to place a removable strap made out of bias along the upper back right below shoulders. If you use the ruffle/trim option the snaps can be easily hidden for no show through. Again, this is my suggestion and not a part of the pattern.

The elastic along the waist adds a cute detail and helps keep the dress in check sitting, standing and twirling. I think it would be fun to play with color along the waistband if you are looking to make a simpler style along the neckline.

Last test run was the pants romper, which we LOVE!!! Rompers are in and I’m starting to come around to them being something for little girls and not just babies. The V-back with the simple ruffle is stunning. This Bristol romper is available in shorts (long and short) and pants.

Bitty loves the pockets and simple ruffle and looks so stylish in the one-piece pants.

And it is so easy to move, run and play in.

As you can see the Bristol pattern is versatile and easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion. I am an affiliate of KPD and my links go to their website. If you choose to purchase one of their patterns, I receive a small compensation in which I thank you very much! Happy Sewing!!
