I have been a little lax on my posting since spring really hit. I stopped sewing for my daughter for a short bit to stitch some things up for myself. Also, both my husband and I have been working on projects with our home. I’m outside on the patio, redoing the iron railing, painting and getting the patio furniture set and my husband has just about finished up the Kids room. He ripped out the chimney, added a window and white board wall.

A snippet of his hard work

When I got back into sewing for my daughter, I decided to try signing up to be a “tester” for a few companies coming out with patterns. You can see Bitty modeling the Boundless dress here at Pattern for Pirates, a very popular site for women and girl patterns. Getting to meet and work with the brains behind these different pattern companies is really a lot of fun and as a community it is so exciting to be able to bring their visions to life!

Youth Boundless from Patterns for Pirates

This dress is super comfy in rayon knit and drapes beautifully. Such an easy slip-on dress for those summer days when you want to be a little dressy but with no real effort. Mine and my mom’s are in the works.

Summer is here which I am hoping means a few road trips, some wet adventures, mountains, beach, and friends. I will be popping in and out over the summer but only to promote other awesome companies like Patterns for Pirates. You can contact me through here, on Facebook or IG.
